Directions Asuntohotelli/Hostel Aallon Maja is located * about 12 km from the city of Kotka * 2.5 km from Karhula shopping center * 3 km from Jumalniemi shopping center * 20 km from the city of Hamina * about 135 km from the center of Helsinki * about 70 km from Vaalimaa, the Russian border		Airport Directions The distance to the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about 130 km - 1.5 hours by car. In Kotka there is a small private airport Kymi. There is Kotka Aviation Museum, as well.
Bus Station Directions We have a buss stop (lines 5B and 6B) in front of the hostel. The nearest bus station is located in the shopping of Karhula, only 2.5 km from the hostel. In the city of Kotka there is an other bus station, but normally all the express busses are driving vie Karhula.		Ferry Terminal Directions Ferry Terminal of Kotka is located at the Sapokka marina, in the city of Kotka. There are many regular boat services to the islands of Varissaari, Kaunissaari, Haapasaari etc. There was driving a ferry Vironia from Kotka to Estonia, as well, but not anymore.
Train Station Directions The main train Station is in the city of Kotka. The trains are driving to the Base Harbor, too. Also in Kymi, 10 km from the city, is a train station. The trains are driving to Kouvola.
